We have recently purchased Fully Automatic Defibrillators which will be made available at our sites. We do hope that we never have to use these, but should the need arise we want to be prepared. 999 will still be called, but the availability of an Automatic Defibrilator can be the difference between life and death. Defibrillation within 3–5 minutes of collapse can produce survival rates up to 50–70%. The Defibrilators will be placed in accesible areas and due to the type we purchased, anybody can use one.
